She was born on 10 march 1847 in liverpool, united kingdom, and died on 13 July 1934 . Kate Sheppard devoted most of her life to women's rights.

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Body para 1:

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"> In Kate Sheppard's time Women were treated very differently and not in a good way. Men treated women like dogs and men thought that a woman's place was at home as a house and that they should have nothing to do with politics. There were so many strict rules that women had to follow back then. Some of them are that they couldn’t have their own bank account and Most of the time if a female wanted to do something she had to have either her husband or father’s permission.

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Body Para 2:

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Kate Sheppard did a petition to help with this problem. Before she could get any signatures she did talks and wrote in News Articles about how and why women's suffrage was such an important thing. A petition is when you get people to sign a paper and then send it to the government. Did you know that Kate Sheppard Did 3 petitions. For Kate’s Petitions There were Over 500 pages of 32,000 signatures for Kate Sheppard’s petition. Kate Sheppard Then delivered the petition to the parliament in July 1893. It was only a few months after she delivered the petition that it was a law that women could vote.

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Body Para 3;

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Kate Sheppeard’s Petition changed The Way of New Zealand. 1893 was the year that women could vote for their government. In 1893 New Zealand Was the first to have a law that women could vote for their government. It took 6 years for Kate Sheppard to finish her petition. This means that Kate’s Petition worked.

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">Conclusion:

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">In conclusion Not only did Kate Sheppard’s Petition help New Zealand It helped change the World and how people thought.

<span style="font-family: "Architects Daughter", cursive; font-size: 13pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">

Jordinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05846465063482045279noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776207082079061341.post-69818665491995685632020-11-05T09:40:00.002+13:002020-11-05T09:40:26.844+13:00Edvard Munch

Jordinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05846465063482045279noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776207082079061341.post-53997084869425096942020-11-02T12:48:00.003+13:002020-11-02T12:48:50.136+13:00Stand Up

Jordinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05846465063482045279noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4776207082079061341.post-54654855461970806002020-11-02T10:16:00.000+13:002020-11-03T10:17:08.185+13:00Georges Surat

Task Description: Today Team 5 had art rotations and Room 5 went to Room 3 for our third rotation. Having life long friends can be great, because they are always there for you. If we only did school through google meets or Zoom then we wouldn’t be great with social skills, and wouldn’t make much friends. Some schools do camps for the student and put the kids in groups with people they don't usually hang out with to make new friends. The social skills you learn at school could help you make friends in the future.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, school helps with social anxiety,How to get a great career and what you could use learning for. In the morning for our first day we did a karakia in the hall, While sitting in our groups,The groups were Kauri,Kaueranga,Coromandel and Thames (tems). Zamera And Athur were the captains for Kauri, The Captains for Kaueranga were Caleb and Leilani, Jezekaia and Mamarei were the captains for Coromandel And lastly Chance and Sione. We boarded the bus and left at 9:20 and arrived at the camp around 10:00. After we unpacked the bus we were seated in our camp groups. Zach, who is one of the staff members at the camp, explained where the boundaries of the place was.When we were told about the boundaries we headed to the gym and played some cross games. The cross games involved leadership,Teamwork and friendship.Sometime around 11:00 we did our first rotation. My group Kauri A started with Paintball But instead of guns they were slingshots. And to end the day off we had a delicious dinner, we had garlic bread,salad,chilli sauce and mince. And our dessert was ice cream and apple crumble, Unfortunately I did not have any.

My Highlights from each day.

The cross games we had

Driving a go-kart

The special stop at the water garden.
