It's all about the clause

    Can you have another look at the dependent/ independent clause slide. The dependent clause won't always be at the end. For example: Walking through the wood, he saw a fox that was following him.
    Walking through the wood
    He saw a fox that was following him.
    Which of these two clauses is a correct full sentence on its own? If it makes sense on its own then it is independent.

    1. Hello Mrs Stone I'm sorry it took me this long to reply. I will re do it and see which is an independent and which is dependant. Thank you for commenting on my blog for advice, I'll keep that in mind the rest of the week.
