Taha Hinengaro
Task description: Today we learnt about Taha Hinengaro. for this task we meditated for 3 minutes, and during our meditation we were asked that we think if we were so relaxed that we had a blank mind with no thoughts or if we were full of thoughts, ideas and emotions, and if they were good or bad.

Onion Cells
Aim:
Finding a clear picture of onion cells?
Hypothesis:
The magnification I think we’ll be able to the onion cells is 40.
Equipment:
- Onion
- A glass slide
- A cover slip
- Tweezers
- A blue stain
- A microscope
Method:
The first thing you need to do is get your pair of tweezers and peel a small amount of onion
skin, you want to peel one layer of onion skin and put it on your microscope slide (if you do
n’t know what it is search it up). After you put your onion skin on your put some saline
water to flatten your skin on your slide. When your done put your blue stain on, then lastly
put your cover slip on so you don’t have to wait for it to dry.

Observation:
At ten times you can still see the outline of the cells. The onion cells look a bit like fly wings
with dots in the middle.
